저희 교회는 2013년 6월에 시작했던 어린이 목장을 2019년 9월말까지 꾸준하게 해왔습니다. 

그동안 어린이들의 변화와 제자가 만들어지는 열매도 있었습니다. 또한 어린이들과 함께 했던 그동안의 사역들을 정리해서 2017년에 [두란노 어린이 그림성경 창작활동북]이 출간이 되는 열매를 체험하기도 했습니다.

    그동안 해왔던 어린이 목장은 하나님이 참 기뻐하시는 사역이고 영혼구원을 위해 꾸준하게 해나가야 할 사역입니다.

    어린이 목장의 어린이 목자를 추천하시도록 안내문을 보내드렸고 기도 가운데에 준비중에 있습니다. 어린이 목자 신청을 받고 나면 먼저 담임 목사님과 멘토링 만남을 하게 됩니다. 멘토링 만남을 어린이 목자의 부모님과 목자 목녀님도 함께합니다. 멘토링 만남을 하고 난 후 어린이 목자 임명을 하게 되며, 매주일 오후에 저와 함께 어린이 목자 모임을 하게 됩니다.

    어린이 목장의 어린이 목자의 헌신과 섬김의 수고와 어린이 목원들의 아름다운 하모니를 통한 영혼구원의 열매가 있었기에 앞으로도 기대가 됩니다.

    어린이들이 어린이 목장에서 하나님 말씀 안에서 하나님이 하시는 일들을 듣고 보고 활동을 통해 삶 속에 적용해서 하나님을 경험하는 시간이 될 것입니다. 그리고 기도 응답을 통한 기도의 중요성을 삶 속에서 경험하게 될 것입니다.

    어린이 목자들도 사명을 감당해 나가는 부분에 있어서 자신의 능력이 아니라 하나님이 세우셨다는 사명감, 섬기는 리더십을 어린이들 눈높이에 맞추어 깨닫는 시간이 되었으면 합니다.어린이 목자는 완벽하지 않기 때문에 하나님을 의지하며 나아가는 믿음을 가지게 되었으면 좋겠습니다.

    하나님 안에서 다양한 어린이들(비장애인, 장애인 등)이 미주 지역 그리고 더 나아가서 세계 여러 지역의 다양한 환경에서 하나님을 사랑하는 마음으로 영혼을 구원하는 일을 위한 열매들을 바라보며 지경이 세계적으로 넓혀지는 시간이 되었으면 좋겠습니다.

    다시 시작하게 되는 어린이 목장을 위해 중보기도로 함께 응원해 주시고, 모든 과정 가운데 역사하시는 하나님께 감사와 찬양을 올려 드립니다.

Fruits and Expectations through Children’s House Church

    Our church has been steadfastly holding Children’s House Church that started in June of 2013 until the end of September in 2019.  Throughout that time, there have been transformations in the children and fruits of discipleship.  In 2017 we were able to experience the fruit of publishing a collection of our ministry efforts with the children into a “Duranno Children’s Picture Bible Creation Activity Book.”

    The children’s house church that we have been doing so far is a ministry that God is very pleased with, and it is one that we will continue to carry out for the salvation of souls. 

    We sent a notice on how to recommend a child shepherd for the children’s house church as we are preparing in prayer.  After receiving the child shepherd application, you will first have a mentoring meeting with the senior pastor.  This mentoring meeting takes place with the child shepherd as well as with his or her parents and their shepherds.  After the mentoring meeting, a child shepherd is appointed and every Sunday afternoon, a child shepherd meeting is held with me. 

    I look forward to the future with anticipation because there was fruit of soul salvation through the harmonious devotion and service of the child shepherds of the children’s house church.

    It will be a time for children to hear and see what God is doing in His Word and how they can apply it into their lives through their activities in their house churches.  And through their answered prayers, they will be able to experience the importance of prayer in their lives.

    I hope that this will be a time for the child shepherds to realize at their own level of understanding that it is not about their own abilities but about a sense of mission and servant leadership that God has established.  Because no child shepherd is perfect, they have to practice their faith and trust and depend on God. 

    I hope it will be a time when various children, in God, whether with disabilities or not, etc. throughout the United States and beyond, out there in the world in diverse environments will be able to look to the fruit with a widened scope, of soul salvation with the heart of God.
