이번 주 12일(수)~ 15일 (토)에 올랜도 비전교회에서 가정교회 목자 컨퍼런스와 어린이 목자 컨퍼런스가 개최됩니다. 목자/목녀님들의 기도와 섬김을 통해서 건강한 가정교회를 세워나가는 것처럼, 올리브 블레싱과 어린이 목장 사역은 건강하고 성경적인 가정을 세워가는데 큰 도움을 주는 귀한 사역입니다. 또한, 이번 컨퍼런스는 펜더믹으로 중단되었던 어린이 목장의 기초를 다시 잡고, 어린이 목자들에게 가정교회의 비전을 공유하고, 사역의 노하우를 알려주는 중요한 기회가 될 것입니다. 저는 어린이 목자 컨퍼런스의 주제 강사로 3번의 집회를 인도하게 되고, 목자 컨퍼런스에서는 올리브 블래싱과 어린이 목장에 대한 선택 강의를 담당하게 되었습니다.

     우리의 자녀들은, 올리브 블레싱을 통해 부모님 세대와 예수 그리스도를 향한 믿음을 공유하고 그들의 신앙을 전수해 나가게 됩니다. 어린이 목장을 통해서는 하나님을 향한 지식과 믿음을 키워나가고, 목장 공동체를 통해 올바른 성품과 성령의 열매를 삶에서 맺어 나가게 됩니다. 뿐만 아니라 구체적인 감사의 내용과 기도 제목을 나누는 훈련을 통해서 신앙의 습관이 생활화 되고, 어린이 목자의 경험을 통해 리더십과 섬김, 인내를 키워나가게 되며, 어린 시절부터 용서와 화해, 상대에 대한 이해와 성숙을 키워나갈 수 있다는 유익이 있습니다. 아이들이 목장을 통해 이러한 성장을 거듭해 나갈 때, 올리브 블래싱과 어린이 목장은 VIP 전도에도 많은 영향력을 미치게 될 것입니다.

     우리 교회도 어린이 목장을 세워나가기 위해 민혜정 전도사님께서 지난 4월부터 매주 어린이 목자들을 만나며 훈련하고 있습니다. 이번 어린이 목자 컨퍼런스를 시작으로 앞으로 우리 교회에서도 목자/목녀모임이나 목자 수련회 등을 통해서 올리브 블레싱과 어린이 목장에 대한 안내와 교육을 제공할 계획입니다.

     이번 어린이 목자 컨퍼런스에는  총 14개의 가정 교회에서 66명의 어린이 목자와 15명의 어른 사역자 및 15명의 스태프 등, 총 96명의 자녀들과 사역자들이 참여합니다. 참여하는 교회들과 어린이 목자들에게 귀한 하나님의 말씀 잘 전해서, 아이들과 사역자들에게 성령님의 감동을 통한 결단과 헌신이 있도록 기도해 주십시오. 이를 통해 각 교회마다 어린이 사역의 열매가 맺히고 저희 교회의 자녀 세대도 앞으로 더욱 든든히 서 나가도록 함께 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

I Will Be Going To The Child Shepherds’ Conference

     Starting from the 12th (Wed) to the 15th (Sat) of this week, the Orlando Vision Church will be hosting the House Church Shepherds’ Conference and the Child Shepherd Conference.  As a healthy house church is raised up through the prayers and service of the shepherds, the Olive Blessing and Childrens’ House Church ministries are precious ministries that greatly help in building healthy and biblical families.  In addition, this conference will be an important opportunity to reestablish the foundation of the childrens’ house church, which was temporarily suspended due to the pandemic, to share the vision of the house church with child shepherds, and to share with them ministry know-hows.  I will lead 3 meetings as a topical lecturer for the Children’s Shepherd Conference, and I will be in charge of elective lectures on Olive Blessing and Children’s House Church.

     Our children, through Olive Blessing, share their faith in Jesus Christ with their parents’ generation and pass on their faith.  Through the Children’s House Church, knowledge and faith toward God are developed, and through the house church community, the right character and the fruit of the Holy Spirit are produced in life.  Not only that, through training to share specific thanks and prayer topics, the habit of faith becomes a part of life.  Leadership, service, and patience are developed through the experience of serving as a Child Shepherd.  There is the benefit of growing in forgiveness and reconciliation, and the maturity of understanding others starting from early on in childhood.

     In order to establish Childrens’ House Church, pastor Hyejeong Min has been meeting and training child shepherds every week since last April.  Starting with this Child Shepherds’ Conference, our church plans to provide guidance and education on Olive Blessing and Childrens’ House Church through shepherds’ meetings or retreats. 

     A total of 96 children and ministers, including 66 child shepherds, 15 adult ministers and 15 staff members from 14 house churches will participate in this Child Shepherd’s Conference.  Please pray that the Word of God will be preached well to all the participating churches and child shepherds so that there will be a Holy Spirit inspired dedication and determination.  Through this, we ask that each church bear fruit of the Childrens’ Ministry and pray with us so that our church’s childrens’ generation may stand firm in the future.
