우리 자녀들에 사춘기를 준비시켜주는 Bridge 캠프를 소개해 드립니다. 청소년기 시절은 정체성이 확립되면서 가치관, 세계관, 도덕관이 뿌리를 내리며 신체적, 정신적, 영정으로도 성인으로의 성장을 하게 되는 중요한 시기입니다. 그런데 이 중요한 시기에, 많은 아이들은 현대 사회의 비성경적인 공교육과 세속화된 미디어 등을 통해 왜곡되고 삐뚤어진 가치관과 자아상에 노출됩니다. 학교나 친구 관계에서도 왕따, 폭력, 성적인 유혹, 자해나 자살 등의 죄된 흐름에 노출되고 그것을 직, 간접적으로 경험하게 됩니다.

Bridge 캠프는 1박 2일 동안 부모와 사춘기를 앞둔 자녀가 함께 떠나는 캠프입니다. 이 캠프 기간동안에 “성경적인 성교육", “중독(게임, 마약)예방", 그리고 “왕따(Bullying)”, 이렇게 세 가지의 주제의 세미나를 부모와 자녀가 함께 듣고 배우게 됩니다. 이것을 통해 성경적인 가치관을 확립하고, 앞으로 부딪힐 많은 상황을 예방하고, 대처하는 방법들을 함께 공유하고 준비하게 될 것입니다.

세미나도 좋지만, 캠프의 묘미는 단연 신나고 즐거운 레크레이션 활동입니다. Bridge 캠프에서도 여러가지 다양한 레크리에이션 게임, Camp fire, outdoor activities 을 통해 부모와 자녀들이 친밀감을 충분히 나눌 수 있을 것이고, 부모가 자녀를 축복하고 서로의 사랑을 나누는 좋은 기회가 될 것입니다.

캠프의 대상은 현재 5학년 부터 7학년까지의 학생과 그의 부모입니다.  자녀와 함께 부모님 두 분이 모두 참석하시기를 권하지만, 최소한 두 분중 한 분은 반드시 참석하셔야 하고 형제는 동반할 수 없습니다. 1박 2일동안은 부모님이 사춘기를 막 시작하는 자녀 한 명에게 집중하는 시간으로 삼기위해서 입니다. 이 캠프는 자녀와 부모님의 일생에 단 한번 주어지는 기회입니다. 우리의 자녀들이 하나님 안에서 올바른 정체성을 확립하고, 성경적인 가치관을 확립하며, 건전한 세계관을 가지고 성장할 수 있는 기반을 제공하는 Bridge 캠프를 위해 함께 기도해주시고 많이 참여하셔서 자녀 양육에 소중한 기회로 삼으시기 바랍니다.

Introducing Bridge Camp.

I want to introduce to you Bridge Camp, which prepares our children to be adolescents. Adolescence is an important period when identity is established and values, worldviews, and morals take root while growing into adulthood physically, mentally and spiritually.  However, during this important period many children are exposed to perverted values and distorted self-images through unbiblical public education and securalized media in modern society.  Even at school or among friends, we are exposed either directly or indirectly to sinful behaviors such as bullying, ostracism, violence, sexual temptation, self-harm, and even suicide.

Bridge Camp is a camp where parents and their prepubertal children attend together for two days and one night.  During this camp, parents and children will learn and listen to seminars on three themes: “Biblical Sex Education,” “Addiction Prevention (Game & Drugs)”, and “Bullying & Ostracism.”  Through this, we will establish biblical values, explore preventative measures for foreseeable situations and together share and prepare ways to deal with them.  The seminar is great but the best part of camp by far is the exciting and enjoyable recreational activities.  At Bridge Camp, parents and children will be able to share closeness through a variety of recreational games, camp fires, and outdoor activities and it will be a good opportunity for parents to bless their children and share love with one another.

The target audience for the camp is for students currently enrolled in 5th through 7th grade and their parents.  Both parents are encouraged to attend with their child, but at least one of them must be present and siblings are not allowed.  One night and two days are for parents to focus on one child who is just starting puberty.  This camp is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for children and parents.  Please pray for and participate in the Bridge Camp, and use it as a valuable opportunity to raise our children, providing a foundation for them, to establish a correct identity in God, establish biblical values, and grow with a healthy worldview.
