가정교회 사명 선언문

    2023년은 가정교회가 시작된 지 30년이 되는 해입니다. 지난 30년 동안 세계 곳곳에 가정교회가 세워졌고, 각 나라와 지역 그리고 문화에 따른 형편대로 교회마다 시행착오를 겪으며 많은 가정교회들이 세워져 가고 있습니다. 신약 교회의 회복을 통해 영혼 구원과 제자 양육의 사명을 감당하고자 시작된 가정교회 출범 30주년을 앞두고 저희 교회는 가정 교회의 기본 정신을 잘 기억하고 지키고 있는지 돌아보는 것이 필요할 것 같아 오늘은 “가정교회 사명선언문”을 소개해 드리려고 합니다.

      1. 신약 교회의 회복을 추구합니다.

조직, 활동(행 2:42), 사역 방법 (행 2:46~47), 리더십 스타일(마태 20:26~27)을 가능하면 신약 성경에 가깝게 만들어보려고 노력합니다.

      2. 교회 성장보다 영혼 구원에 우선순위를 둡니다.

          모든 사람이 다 구원받기를 원하는 것이 하나님의 소원이라고 믿기 때문입니다.(딤전 2:4)

      3. 비신자에게 전도하여 제자를 만드는 것에 교회 존재의 목적을 둡니다.

          이것이 주님이 교회를 세우신 목적이라고 믿기 때문입니다.(마 28:19~20)

      4. 지식 전달보다는 능력 배양에, 교실 교육보다는 현장 실습에, 말로 가르치기보다는 행동으로 보여주는 방법을

         제자 훈련의 방법으로 선호합니다. 이것이 예수님의 방법이라고 믿기 때문입니다.(막 3:14~15)

      5. 목회자와 평신도 각자가 본연의 사역을 되찾도록 합니다.

목회자는, 성도를 온전케 하는 일과(엡 4:11~12상), 기도와 말씀 선포(행 6:2~4), 리더십 발휘에 집중합니다.

성도들은 목양과 교회를 세우는 일을 합니다.(엡4:12하)

      6. 셀그룹이나 소그룹이 아니고 신약적 원형 교회를 추구합니다. 가정 교회의 기초 공동체인 목장이 신약적인

        공동체가 되기 위하여 다음 사항을 고수합니다.

                   (1) 매주일 모입니다.(행 20:7)

(2) 남녀가 같이 모입니다.(롬 16: 3~5)

(3) 신자와 비신자가 같이 모입니다.(고전 14:23~25)

      7. 직제, 성례, 설교권 등 제반 사항에 관하여서는 각개 목회자의 신학적 배경과 소속된 교단의 전통을 존중해

         줍니다.

    가정교회의 역사가 길어져 감에따라 그 본질을 잊지 않고, 초심을 잃지 않는 것이 무엇보다 중요할 것입니다. 가정 교회의 사명과 정신을 잘 기억하고, 가정교회를 지속해 나가면서 이 땅을 향한 하나님의 소원을 이루어나가는 우리 미라클랜드 침례교회가   되기를 바랍니다.

House Church Mission Statement

    2023 is the 30th anniversary of the beginning of House Church.  Through the last thirty years  house churches have been established in various parts of the world, and they are continuing to be established in each country, culture and region according to their own situations by trial and error.  Looking ahead towards the 30th anniversary of its launch, I felt that we need to reflect on whether we remember the fundamental spirit of the House Church, which is to nurture disciples and save souls by restoring the New Testament Church.

1. 1. We pursue the restoration of the New Testament Church.

Structure & activity (Acts 2:42); Ministry methods (Acts 2:46-47), Leadership style

(Matthew 20:26-27) we try to get as close as possible to the New Testament Church.

2. 2. We place priority on soul salvation, over that of church growth.

          It is because we believe that it is God’s will that everyone receive salvation (1 Tim 2:4)

3. 3. The purpose of church is to evangelize non-believers and make disciples.

          It is because we believe that this is the Lord’s purpose for the church.  (Matt 28:19-20)

4. 4. As a method of discipleship, we prefer to build competence rather than impart knowledge, to practice in the field rather than to teach in the classroom, and to show by action rather than by teaching with words.

          It is because this is the method Jesus uses. (Mark 3:14-15)

5. 5. Let pastors and laity recover their original ministry.

          Pastors focus on equipping the saints (Ephesians 4:11-12a), praying and proclaiming the

Word (Acts 6:2-4) and exercising leadership. (Acts 20:28). 

Saints do the work of shepherding and building the church. (Ephesians 4:12)

6. 6. It is not a cell group or small group, but the original New Testament church.  The mokjang, the foundational community of house church adheres to the following in order to become a New Testament Community.

1. 1. We meet every Sunday. (Acts 20:7)
2. 2. Men and Women gather together. (Romans 16:3-5)
3. 3. Believers and non-believers gather together. (1 Corinthians 14:23-25)

7. 7. Regarding all matters such as order, sacraments, preaching authorities, etc., the theological background of each pastor and the tradition of the denomination to which he belongs are respected.

    As the history of the house church grows longer, it will be more important than anything to not forget its essence and original intention.  I pray that MiracleLand Baptist Church will remember the mission and the spirit of house church, continue meeting together in our homes and carry out God’s will towards the earth.
